Christmas Newsletter 2005
back
Dear Parents,

It seems impossible that Christmas is almost upon us. The autumn term has really flown by – and what a busy term it has been! Thirty-nine pupils took a Royal Academy of Dance Presentation or Examination in November, Congratulations to all of these pupils for their hard work. I hope everyone has enjoyed their ballet lessons this term.

Next term will be equally as busy as we shall be preparing for our show in the Corn Exchange in Witney. This will take place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March 2006. In view of the seating capacity of the Corn Exchange we will be doing three performances to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to come and watch. On Saturday 25 there will be an afternoon dress rehearsal and evening performance and on Sunday 26 there will be a matinee and evening performance. Pre-School and Pre-Primary pupils will only participate in one performance. There will be more information about this exciting project next term.

Next term will be 11 weeks. The fees are given on the attached sheet – these should be paid within the first two weeks of term. The dates for next term are as follows: for Monday pupils, term starts on Monday 2 January with the last lesson on Monday 20 March; for Tuesday pupils, terms starts on Tuesday 3 January with the last lesson on Tuesday 21 March; for Friday pupils, term starts on Friday 6 January and the last lesson is on Friday 24 March. There will be no lessons during half term week on Monday 20, Tuesday 21 and Friday 24 February.

Please could parents ensure that their child’s hair is tied back in a pony tail, plaits or a bun for all ballet classes.

Finally may I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and I look forward to seeing everyone again after a well deserved Christmas break!
