Christmas Newsletter 2008
back
Dear Parents,

It seems impossible that Christmas is almost upon us. The autumn term has really flown by – and what a busy term it has been with two full days of examinations! I would like to congratulate all examination pupils for their hard work and enthusiasm.

Last term’s examinations were very successful with a third of the children gaining a distinction and everyone else achieving high merits. The examiner was a former Royal Ballet dancer who commented on the excellent standard of all the pupils, so well done to everyone involved.

On the subject of examinations, please could I take this opportunity to say a big thank you to parents who have brought children to extra exam classes.  I realise that it causes you a lot of extra effort, however the excellent results show that these extra coaching classes are time well spent. I would also like to thank parents for ensuring their children are correctly dressed in the right uniform each week.

All pupils have worked hard during lessons this term, however I would like to single out the Pre-School classes for our youngest pupils. I am always amazed at how quickly these 3 year olds learn and how well behaved and enthusiastic they are. Well done!

The Windrush School of Ballet continues to expand. Last term we started additional classes on Wednesdays as well as beginning ballet classes for adults on Mondays and Fridays. The adult classes have been particularly well attended and have proved to be great fun!

The fees and dates for next term are given here. Fees should be paid within the first two weeks of term.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all again in the New Year.
