Summer Newsletter 2009
back
Dear Parents,

I cannot believe that it is already the end of the summer term! We are now looking forward to the Autumn term during which we will start preparing for our next major show show. There will also be an examination session during November and details will be given out at the start of the term.

The Spring term examinations were very successful. Well done to the candidates for all their hard work which led to these excellent results. This term we had a range of examinations for which we are awaiting the results, including grades five and six.

Some of the children have asked to have a second lesson each week. If you are interested in extra lessons then please remember we have at least two classes each week for most grades. We try to keep the cost of additional lessons for the same child as low as possible. Please see Angela for more details.

Please could I remind you to ensure your daughter’s hair is plaited, put in a bun or pulled back in a pony tail for all classes. Regarding uniform, children must wear a cross over cardigan as it is impossible to see the line of the body under t-shirts or school sweaters.

One other item of news - we are in the process of arranging for a professional dancer to come and lead a ‘Nutcracker Workshop’ as well as various master classes.  I will give you more details about these exciting opportunities when they become available.

I hope you all have an enjoyable summer and I look forward to seeing everyone again after a well deserved break.
