Dear Parents
We hope that all the children have enjoyed this very busy term and are looking forward to the show next year. As you probably know by now, the Corn Exchange is not taking any bookings so we are in the process of looking for a new venue. We will update you as soon as we have any news, but there will definitely be a show in the Spring, for which we will be starting rehearsals next term, for all classes from pre-primary upwards. We will be requesting some parental help during the shows and will let you know more details nearer the time. It will also be necessary to have some extra rehearsal lessons for the show and we will let you know in good time when these are likely to take place.
We have over 80 children taking part in the Coppelia Workshop on 10th December and I’m sure that this will be a very enjoyable time for all concerned.
We entered 41 children for their RAD examinations this term and are now awaiting the results. There will be no examinations in the Spring term – the next ones will take place during the Summer term 2012.
Please note that next term commences on Wednesday 4th January. There are some changes to the timetable for lessons on Mondays at Davenport Road, Tuesdays at Hailey and Wednesdays at Combe. Please check the timetable attached if your child attends any of these classes.
We wish you all a very happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you in January.
Best wishes.
Pat Clapton
