Dear Parents,

We are almost at the end of another term – and this has been a particularly busy one as we prepare for our Corn Exchange Concert. Everyone has been rehearsing extremely hard and we are looking forward to staging a spectacular concert. We’ll put a selection of photographs on our website over the Easter holidays so please keep an eye out for these. Please may I also take this opportunity to thank all parents for their help, particularly those who are assisting in dressing rooms.

I would like to congratulate all our examination children from last term – the results were excellent. Next term we shall be entering pupils for examinations at Pre-Primary, Primary, Grade 1 and Grade 2 levels. If this effects your child you will receive an additional letter.

Please could I remind you to ensure your daughter’s hair is plaited, put in a bun or pulled back in a pony tail for all classes. Regarding uniform, children must wear a cross over cardigan as it is impossible to see the line of the body under t-shirts or school sweaters. RAD regulation uniform is available for purchase from us – please speak to Angela who will order any items we don’t have in stock. Please note that uniform purchased from high street retail outlets may not comply with the strict RAD examination regulations.

Please could all grade 3 and above pupils ensure they arrive in class dressed in uniform with their shoes tied, ready to begin lessons. We are loosing valuable class time waiting for pupils to get dressed.

The dates and times for lessons next term are on the attached sheet. Please note that some classes have changed time slightly. For any child wanting a second lesson each week, the fee for the extra classes is £40 per term. The fee for Primary, Grade 1 and grade 2 coaching classes is £35 per term. Friday pupils please note that Grade 4 and Grade 5 classes start and finish a week later than the other lessons.

Please feel you can ring me anytime if there is any aspect of your child’s ballet lessons that you wish to discuss. Finally may I wish you all a very Happy Easter and I look forward to seeing everyone again after a well deserved break!

Patricia
