Dear Parents
We hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and are looking forward to the coming term.
A timetable is attached - please check carefully as there are a number of changes next term. Please also note that our term starts on Monday 7th January 2019.
We will be having a show next term and this will be on the last day of term – Saturday 6th April. There will be a rehearsal on Friday 5th April between 4.00 and 8.00pm at Henry Box School and a dress rehearsal on Saturday morning followed by two performances in the afternoon and evening. To accommodate the show there will be twelve lessons next term instead of the normal eleven, and ten lessons in the following term. Please let me know as soon as possible if your child cannot take part in the show. There is no reason why they can’t attend lessons as normal and join in with the rehearsals, as the children usually enjoy these lessons. It is very important that all children taking part in the show attend all the lessons and any additional rehearsals that may be necessary nearer the date. Tickets for the show will be on sale after half-term.
We would like to congratulate all those candidates who took their examinations in November - they all worked very hard and we await their results. Our provisional date for the exams this term is Saturday 9th March and if your child is to be entered you will receive a letter shortly. The coaching classes will commence the first week of term.
